End of year team day out 2009
26/01/2010

As a reward for the hard effort in training and matches during the year a team day out was organised over the Christmas holidays for the boys and girls on last years under 8 team.  This invovled a trip to Croke Park to visit the museum and take the stadium tour, which included warming up in the dressing rooms and running out of the tunnel to the sound of the crowd

A great day was had by all the team, parents and mentors!!  One of the team wrote his account of our day out.

Check out the Juvenille section under the Pictures Gallery for some photos of the day.

Report on team day out by David Carroll (Aged 8)

On Wednesday the 30th of December Fingallians under 8’s went on a trip to Croke Park and bowling in ALSAA. We all met in Fin’s at 11.15. We all hopped into the cars and drove to Croke Park.

We arrived at Croke Park and went into the Museum a tour guide showed us old history of the GAA. Then we saw the pitch and we ran through the tunnel and we all shouted Go Ireland. Then we went into the room where the players celebrate. Then we heard the story of Cu Culainn. Then we played a few games and saw the Sam Maguire cup and the Mc Carthy cup. Then we hopped back into the cars and went to ALSSA bowling and then we got something to eat.  And we all went home. Everyone had a great day.
