Camogie
Its an exciting time for us!
For the 1st time in over 20 years Fingallians is preparing to enter 2 teams into the camogie leagues starting next March.
Training sessions started at the end of September 2011 and we now have over 30 girls training every Thursday evening from 6pm to 7pm.
The girls have a mixed set of skills – some are absolute beginners while others have trained with the junior hurling teams in Fingallians.
We are looking for new members of any age group to come down, have some fun, learn new skills, get fit and make new friends.
We have 7 dedicated coaches who have recently completed a camogie mentoring programme which was held in Fingallians.
We would welcome any individuals who can help support training the girls with any aspect of the game.
We also need people who are willing to support the teams in terms of administration (organisation of matches) and general supervision.
Come down for a trial any Thursday and join in the fun (training equipment is provided).
